Firefox Tip: Multiple Home Pages

Firefox Tip: Multiple Home Pages

I just worked out the other day how to set my Firefox browser so that my favourite 4 sites all open simultaneously in individual tabs when I start up the browser, or when I hit the “home” button.

All you have to do is go to “Tools > Options” and under the “General” tab enter in the desired sites with a vertical divide (ie. | ) between them.

For example, if I wanted to have the following sites set as my “home four” (which I do):

Then enter the following in the home page field which you can find following my instructions above:

http://www.masey.co | http://www.myspace.com | http://www.news.com.au | http://www.netvibes.com

And while we’re on the subject of “Firefox”, with the recent release of it’s arch rival “MS Internet Explorer 7.0” or “IE7” (the piece of crap that it is), some enterprising chappy got his hands on the domain “www.ie7.com” and… well let’s just say brought a HUGE smile to my face! LOL
