Dominic Boudreault's "The City Limits"

Dominic Boudreault’s “The City Limits”

TIME-LAPSE photography. Something that I have loved and admired for a long time, and something I am hoping to get into more in the near future.

I have posted some really beautiful videos on my blog in the past, (The Unseen Sea & Vancouver City) and today I’d like to feature the work of arguably one of the world’s best motion photography maestro’s, Quebec native Dominic Boudreault.

The following video titled “The City Limits” was shot over the course of 12 months and features stunning time-lapse footage captured in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Manhattan and Chicago, all set to the haunting tune “Time” by the incomparable composer “Hans Zimmer”, from the movie “Inception”.

For the punters out there, here’s the list of the lenses Dominic snapped onto the end of his Canon 5D MkII to put the footage together:

  • Canon 14mm 2.8 II
  • Canon 24mm 1.4 II
  • Canon 135mm 2
  • Canon 70-200 2.8 II

Be Inspired.
