Yes, I survived my trip back to my second “home” of Vancouver and managed to squeeze in a number of fantastic music gigs and festivals in my time in the Great White North. The highlight, without a doubt, was this year’s road trip down to The Gorge to catch three amazing performances by the Dave Matthews Band, a trip that I have documented with photos, fan videos and setlists here on my blog.
For now, however, enjoy the following selection of tracks from Northern Ireland, Canada, New Zealand & Australia.
1. “Someday” – Two Door Cinema Club
BANGOR, NORTHERN IRELAND
New album, new hit, same great sound from these Irish lads!
2. “Unkind” – Sloan
Cheers to my mate @rwashton for brining this great track, from one of my favourite Canadian bands, to my attention.
3. “Blue Eyes” – Ladyhawke
WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND
The original version of this track is good, but this “Alison Wonderland” remix is killer!
4. “Haunted By Love” – Dominique Fricot
Can’t believe I haven’t posted this track already! Great song, great bloke, KILLER creative film clip.
5. “Escape” – Asta
Triple J’s 2012 Unearthed High winner (that’s right, she’s still in high school!) has come up with this great track.
