#Musicmonday – #037

ANOTHER week down and another quest to dig up 5 tracks to fill your ears with. If you happen to be lucky enough to make it down to SXSW in Austen, TX this week for all the fun, let me know if you find any great new bands we should all know about here at #MusicMonday.

In the meantime, here’s what I’ve got for you today…

1. “Where I’m Going” – Sir Sly

LOS ANGELES, USA

Completely unknown to me up until this week, this LA trio are poised for a strong 2013 on the back of their debut EP, “Ghost”.

2. “Full Circle” – Half Moon Run

MONTREAL, CANADA

Possibly my pick of the week given how many times I’ve had it on repeat tonight! A talented young Canadian indie band I’m certainly going to keep an eye on!

3. “Driftin'” – Y Luv

LOS ANGELES, USA

Another neat find for me this week was this tune titled “Driftin'” from Los Angeles band “Y Luv”.

4. “Tonight” – Glass Towers

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

This week’s Triple J Unearthed feature artist is a Sydney band called “Glass Towers” & their single “Tonight”.

5. “Yesterday’s Gone” – Hungry Kids of Hungry

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA

A fun track to end on this week from one of my current fave local acts, “Hungry Kids of Hungary”. Stoked to have picked up tix this week to their April 19 gig at “The Hi-Fi”. This live performance video features a little back story on where the guys have come from too!
